Coach Eric's Top Training tools for Hitting

1. SwingRail

For hitters who train with us, you always hear us talk about keeping our hands from casting out as we begin our swing. Doing so straightens the front arm leading to dropping our hands and popping up more.

One of the best products available to help correct this bad habit is SwingRail. We've tested this product thoroughly and strongly recommend it for any age.
2. Total Control Balls

If you want more power, this is a must have product.  The Total Control Ball 74 weighs 3x a regulation baseball, and forces batters to swing through the ball. We use these in all of our hitting sessions and they take a beating. We love using these for soft toss batting practice in a small area as the balls don't travel very far.  These make excellent pre-game hitting warm-ups.

3. Jugs Pro Style Batting Tee

We've tried countless brands of batting tee's and the Jugs Pro T is by far the best.  It has lasted the longest and takes a beating everyday in our facility. You can adjust the height very quickly and is near impossible to knock over.  We wouldn't consider using anything but this product.

4. SKLZ Whiffle Balls

Forget cheap whiffle balls; these ones are virtually indestructible.  You can crush them, fold them, step on them, and they always pop back into their perfect round shape.  The one-sided holes make for great curveballs, screwballs, and sinkers.
